BE READY FOR 2015...!!!

GET YOURSELF READY FOR 2015 INVESTIGATIONS...!

Now is the time to start thinking about next year... yes, i know, Christmas hasn`t even passed yet, but its never too early to prepare, and there are a number of things GHT Members can be getting on with between now and the AGM in January.

1) UNIFORM - Starting from the first GHT Investigation in 2015, whichever month it falls in, we will only be allowing GHT Core Team / Investigators and Guests on our vigils that are wearing GHT Uniform. If you turn up in non-issue uniform (trousers / skirts exempt) then you will NOT be permitted to take part, regardless of any costs incurred or already paid. We aim to present a unified appearence to venues and the public alike. Uniform is available to order from the shop. We will only order on blocks to cut costs down as individual orders will increase the price shown in the shop.

THIS IS A PRIORITY - EVERYONE NEEDS AN ITEM OF GHT UNIFORM.

2) BUYING EQUIPMENT - You may if you wish purchase your own equipment or share equipment already in your pocession. Such items, unless requested by the owner, will be separate from the GHT Equipment and cases and will remain the owners property. GHT will therefore not be liable for any loss or damage incurred whilst on investigation.

3) CHECKING OUT POSSIBLE LOCATIONS - Locations are our bread & butter, both indoors and outdoors. There are some key things to remember though...

• Always try to keep costs down for both hiring and fuel

• Always check access is possible - DO NOT TRESPASS - Gain permission to enter any site first

• Try to keep to a reasonable distance if possible, the more time spent getting to somewhere, the less time you get to investigate

• Make sure Health & Safety proceedures are followed at ALL times

• Try to make it unique or somewhere GHT has yet to go

Always refer any locations back to Katy who will then chase up the venue, or check the site requirements, or you can pass details directly onto Joan and Colin who will liase with Katy.

4) GO ON INVESTIGATIONS WITH OTHER TEAMS OR EVENTS - Nothing wrong with this, just remember to not do anything which will bring disrupte towards the established name of GHT, you can choose to wear or not wear GHT uniform, and you can request some business cards if you wish to hand out and promote the team. Above all its good to gain further experience and knowledge, or you might just see something you know GHT wouldn`t do like Ouija Boards. Once there its down to you...

5) ENJOY YOUR CHRISTMAS....!! We have a break from Investigations now till the New Year, so time to chill, buy presents and see loved ones and family.
