ANDY BALL (2004 - 2015) Leaving GHT....

2015 see`s us starting off with some more bad news...

Long time and founder member ANDY BALL has decided to leave the team. Andy felt he could no longer give 100% commitment towards GHT and has regretably decided to step away from Core Team duties.

As many of you may know, Andy was with me on only the second ever GHT investigation which was at Borley in Essex. It was a night to remember with driving rain and high expectations, the kind that inexperience then wowed us but which would now be treated with more scepticism. The real highlight of the evening was gaining unexpected access to the interior of Borley Church albeit having to attend a church service to do so - but its a rare moment and one both myself and Andy remember fondly...

Andy easily made friends with everyone who met him and i have never heard anyone have anything bad to say about him. He was a professional to the last and as our lead Medium for many years, he brought a new talent and hitherto unused powers to the team leading to some of our greatest moments of investigation discovery and evidence.

Andy`s kind and generous nature saw him become a popular member of GHT and whenever he appeared on a vigil the whole atmosphere of the evening was different, it became not just an excellent day out but became some of our greatest adventures into the paranormal World. And he was not immune to some light hearted ribbing and jokes too, often aimed at his native Lancashire, his beloved Trams or his small stature... oh, and if he happened to either fall over, trip or step in something, it was laughed off by all including Andy - such as he was, a great sport on all occassions.

Although Andy leaves the team, the door has been left open to him to come along and take part in the odd Investigation. I`m sure we will not have seen the last of him in this respect.

Meanwhile, on behalf of everyone here at GHT, may i wish Andy all the best for the future and i hope that whatever he does, that he will be even more successful at it as he was doing Ghost Hunting...
