RAMS INN CANCELLED..!!!

With regret we have had to cancel the proposed investigation of the ANCIENT RAMS INN in Gloucestershire.

Although when we initially booked it we had already reached our quota of a minimum of eight people, we had a number drop out without notifying us and left us struggling ever since to fill the gap. We nearly did it and nearly had eight more again, but we have been rather let down by lack of promised payments and again people dropping out.

So we have taken the decision to cancel and to lose our deposit.

On a personal note, this whole thing has now had a more direct and profound effect on the way we run the bookings for GHT Investigations. From now on anyone wishing to attend a paid event will have to pay the cost first, then place their name down on the list as attending. Once their name is down they cannot remove it. The same goes for outdoor investigations without the need to pay, you will still need to put your name down and you will be expected to attend.

Iam also very upset my the lack of commitment by some members. It was a truly poor showing and i was annoyed as we had tried to do someplace fresh and different for a change. Alas the chances of us ever getting back in are now remote...
