NEW FACES, NEW PLACES!!!

As i write this, GHT has just completed its investigation at CAISTER ROMAN TOWN on the the 27/6/15 which was not only a return to an old favourite site but also a chance to put a new prospective Investigator through their assessment.

That person passed the test, and so its with great pleasure that i announce our latest GHT Investigator as EMMA STAFF, and welcome her to the GHT Family. We wish her well as her promising start today showed that she should fit in well and contribute alot towards the team and our vigils.

I also have yet another piece of Team related news to give out.

For a while now i have been pondering about making a position within the Team for an Acting Team, this would be for someone who would either take on the responsibility of running the Investigation completely or co-running alongside with myself to help out, sharing duties and organising the Investigators and Guests by giving them specific roles during the vigil.

We decided that such a role would be viable and that we would have to consider several people for the role based on their attributes, contributions and flexibility. In the end we came down to just three people who would be ideal in their own way for this role. These were:

CHRIS WEET

LEE LEWIS

IAN PRESS

After careful consideration, and weighing up all the available facts, We had to rule out Chris because we felt that on top of his family duties and the fact he is now involved with the Scouts too, that it was going to be unfair to burden him with further GHT duties. For Ian, we liked his willingness to attend most Investigations and he is well liked within the team, but like myself he can be hassled by awkward work hours - this can often be at short notice too and therefore it would impact on his ability to do an Acting Leader role. So we finally came to Lee Lewis, who since joining GHT has shown both a willingness and a commitment to the team, has been able to attend most Investigations, and has also put forward new members and promoted GHT, alot of this he did off his own back too which shows initative and therefore we have come to the decision that Lee would be the right person for the role.

Therefore, with immediate effect, Lee will now be the GHT Acting Team Leader.

I would like to pass on our congratulations to him on behalf of all of us at GHT. Please help and support Lee in this role as although he is no stranger to running a team, there will still be things new to him within the GHT framework so whilst he settles into the role, we will be there to help him out when needed.
