GHT Investigations on hold....

Due to the continued personal issues surrounding Colin and Joan and the fact that these along with Colin`s own very tight work rota have already impacted on GHT Investigations during 2015. With this in mind we have had to come to a serious decision regarding the remaining planned GHT Investigations for the year.

It has been decided that all the remaining vigils for 2015 will be placed on hold.

If any one-off investigations do occur, they will most likely be last minute and with very little notice, we are NOT expecting all GHT Members to be able to attend at such short notice and will run with as little as two, three or four people if needed.

If a one-off vigil comes up during October / November it will be posted on the GHT Facebook ONLY - Not the Forum. It will be an Outdoor vigil and no Insurance payment will be required.

If you see a vigil posted on the GHT Facebook page and wish to attend then just let Colin know via the normal channels.

For the record, GHT is NOT shutting down or closing..!!!!

For the time being Joan will not be renewing our Public Liability Insurance because its not required for outdoor sites.

Joan will also not be covering her Admin duties for the time being.

For those of you who do not already know, Joan has been ill since November 2014, and although she has tried to attend several GHT Investigations, it has become increasingly more difficult for her to do so due to mobility issues. The problem is liver related and at somepoint soon in the future she will be going to hospital to have essentially a by-pass operation. An added complication has been Colin`s work rota which he has had to move and change around Joan`s hosptial appointments, often taking up free rest day time which was allocated for a GHT Investigation. This is set to continue. It was felt by both that rather than cancel a load of vigils, it would be better to offer a few at short notice to whoever can attend and thus not shut the group down.

We hope that All GHT Members will help out as best they can for any investigations we able to do for the remaining months of 2015, and that Joan makes a speedy recovery.
