GHT Research Notes
GHT has an outstanding written record of all our vigils, not just from documentation taken down onsite using our Record Sheets, but also from extensive background checking and double-checking of all recorded data.
Once a site has been investigated, the work begins to try and find as much substainsiated fact as possible regarding the site, the people involved with it, and key historical dates that tie-in the site into the context of the investigation.
During the investigation, we try respectively to get Forename and Surname of the individuals we speak to in Spirit, and if possible a date or year in which to start our after-vigil Research. We do not always get this, so there will inevitably be gaps in the the information we get, and this will add to problems in researching afterwards. But we do try to find out as much as we can for each site and Spirit energy we encounter.
GHT Members who have done tremendous work in researching even the most unassuming location or person are Emma and Chris, with a great deal of follow-up work done by Joan, Katy and Colin.
Sometimes, prior to an Investigation, a limited amount of background checking is carried out simply to ascetain if the area we plan to go to is open to the public and there are no hazards or risk of trespass.. We often carry out a Recon Vigil to assess a location, and the research will cover checking if there is sufficient space for car parking and if the location impedes on any built-up area or buildings. We also do a Risk Assessment for H&S (Health and Safety) Requirements so as to not break any conditions of our Public Liabilty Insurance.

Research has proved vital in a site like this, the incised 13th century tomb lid and location of the Holy Well only came to light after several days of going through online material and maps

We still have open lines of research into the events GHT encountered at Binham. The phenomena is still unexplained and still mystifies the team...

History begins from the last second passed by... Do not forget the more recent events when researching, a car accident, a WW2 bomb or even a building renovation can trigger a haunting...
