GHOST HUNT TEAM (GHT) Has been investigating the Paranormal since 2004, making 2014 our 10th Anniversary year..

We are a small team who are based mainly in Hertfordshire and Essex, but who like to go a bit further on occasions to other areas of the UK, including Kent, Norfolk and the Isle of Wight.

We have featured in two books, 21ST CENTURY GHOSTS by Jason Karl (under our older name of SpritQuest) and in PARANORMAL ESSEX by David Scanlan and Paul Robins. We have also assisted author Gay Baldwin with her book on The Ghosts of Knighton Gorges (Isle of Wight) with our Reports and Picture evidence from the site.

We have made some excellent contacts over the years and have a good working relationship with many venues including Yesterdays World at Battle, Ypres Tower at Rye and Rougham Air Control Tower.

We also have taken onboard the Reports and Picture files of Thanet Paranormal Investigations to give them a more permanent Web presence, And we actively work with both CHAPS (Channel Paranormal Society) in Kent, and Michelle Vanda Scott and Andy Thom in Norfolk.

We are also co-operate with any willing teams on Investigations providing their is mutual respect and agreement to abide by each others rules.

 

After a brief hiatus, GHT was back up and running again from 2017 onward doing only a few investigations, but it has become clear that free time and the ability to organise each vigil was becoming tiresome and more problematic, coupled with a lack of enough people able to attend and the rise of Event based "Scare" nights running under the guise of Paranormal Investigations that GHT was no longer in a position to offer much or attract the audience it once had.

In 2018, after 14 years of running one of the best teams in Eastern England, it was decided to quit whilst still recognised as being one of the most respected Investigation Teams in the field. With that GHT ceased operations on the 22nd September 2018
