FINALISED PLAN - SHED TREATED & PROTECTED.

Sorry for the lack of updates on here recently, but there are only two things to report...

Firstly, as can be seen in the picture on here, the finalised plan of the layout has been adapted to fit the Shed size, broken into 1ft by 1ft squares and allowing for access areas for track cleaning and maintenence.

Secondly, we have treated the outside of the Shed with wood preserve. One tub managed to cover the entire Shed, along with a second shed and three fence panels too.

I have turned my mind to cladding the interior. It poses a problem in that it doubles the cost of the materials used on the shed, but inevitably it will be useful in the Winter months. One idea is to proceed at present without cladding in the Shed to at least get the initial baseboards down, then add cladding afterwards. Provision will be made to allow for the later cladding.

With money tight on this project after the overspend on the Shed delivery its likely we will not see a full track circuit either inside or outside the Shed before the end of the year, the timetable has shifted back a fraction.

Another factor is the removal of the third, unwanted Shed at the back of the garden. This is now a priority.
