FIRST TRAIN RUNS ON COLCESTER MK4..!!
It wasnt a long journey but we finally reached a momentous point in the rebuilding of Colcester when the first train actually ran on new Colcester tracks...
The glory went to a brand new Class 150 DMU as it gingerly ran the short distance down the first completed storage road on the Lower Storage Yard.
It was shortly followed by the Virgin livery Class 90 "City of Glasgow" which also travelled the same length of track.
Afterwards the next storage road and the two shorter DMU roads were completed along with the point-work connecting them all together so that in total four out of the eight roads are now complete.
