NEW ITEMS PURCHASED FOR RE-BUILD

We have started to purchase items ready for the new rebuild..!!

Along with a modern Hornby footbridge sourced from Ebay, we have again used our wonderful friends up at Great Eastern Models in Norwich to get a few more buildings, a new Y-Point and we have our first DCC Signal, a two aspect one from Train Tech.

Yes, thats right... the new layout will employ DCC Signals along its tracks, with the Train Tech ones being particularly useful as they will automatically setup block working when clipped into the track. These signals are not cheap, they come in at £40 a go, but they are certainly the simplest way to setup realistic signals on a layout, especially one the size of Colcester.
