COLCESTER Revised Plan 2017

A slight revision, i`ve opted to omit some tracks for clarity and concentrate on the main lines, although given the nature of track planning, there may still be some alterations to this plan, you just never know! The revision came about from me counting up all the track and pointwork i`ve been building up over the last couple of years and realising that some points could be taken out, and some moved to better positions.

Like i said, by no means a definitive plan but definitely getting closer to what will appear on the layout boards once we are ready. What WILL be seen as shown in this plan are the baseboards themselves, with the top left and bottom right corners at an angle and the insides given 45 degree edges too. This allows for access to the corners and by rounding off the inside part we can increase the curve radius on the bends leading to the storage yards and in the station area.
