Its Train Show time again..!!

October is here and once again its the season of the Model Railway Show, with major ones at Peterborough and Warley. My choice this year is to return back to the Motor Heritage Museum at Gaydon, Warwickshire for the Great Electric Train Show which has been an annual event now since 2013.

The chief reason to go is to see the superb model called "Deansmoor" which has both a high and low level track system enabling the operators to have a mix of slow and semi-fast services, whilst a slice of electrified main line provides the speed...

Although modelled in N Gauge, Deansmoor offers a chance to see how a modern rail setting should look and its only a matter of taking what they have done and upscaling it to OO.

I`m looking forward to going, with my friend Chris tagging along too, it will certainly be a laugh. I will report about the show in a future blog on here along with pictures.
