MAJOR MILESTONE ACHIEVED!!

On Saturday 25th August, an important milestone was achieved in the construction of Colcester International. The very first completed circuit of track - the loop connecting upper and lower boards - was connected..!!
To celebrate this ground-breaking moment, the two Class 350s were chosen for the very first run along the new tracks and the newly completed Colcester Junction, and im pleased to say performed the task faultlessly. Also, to see if a loco with a slightly longer bogie could get through the pointwork, I sent a Class 90 around on the inner line with the sharpest curves, which it again coped with without a problem.
The Hi-Speed Line is still yet to go in, but just that and the inner loop via Furman Smithy Station are all that remains to be done track-wise in the shed.
