MAIN SHED TRACKWORK COMPLETED!!!

After the major milestone of completing the first circuit of track, things have sped along very quickly - I have now completed the Upper loop line which will run over the proposed river scene and in doing so it means all the major trackwork within the Shed has been completed.

There is still a couple of pieces to lay, the Depot tracks have to go in next and then I still need to add the Hi-Speed tracks inside Colcester International Station itself and leading off Furman Smithy Junction so that the future extension into the Garden can be connected.

Now that 95% of the tracks are complete, ideas about scenery and where certain buildings, OHE masts, Bridges, Level Crossings, Roads, Rivers and much, much more can all start being thought about, sites for these need to be set out and various key features designed. Truly the fun bit begins with the scenic side of Railway Modelling...
