Next big project begins..!!

With scenery progressing well, thoughts now turn towards the Depot bridge which crosses the four track section and its access ramp. This bridge will support a 3 line road which will have a traffic light set at one end and a roundabout at the other end, giving access to Furman Smithy village. The Depot ramp will lead down between the track to the Depot itself and the mainlines.

On the scenery side more added scrub, bushes and other foliage has been placed on the embankment, the area above the graffiti wall, on the wall behind the disused signal box and also on the buttress wall too.

One key area tackled too was the annoying issue with a gap in the fishplates on a point at Colcester Junction with track being either replaced or realigned to close the gap up thus preventing some derailment issues here. Another slight fix was also done on Furman Smithy Junction for a failed fishplate that needed replacing.
