Bridges and Crossings - Pt.3

Rounding off this triplet of news features we can show you the conclusion of the builds concerning the Depot Road Bridge and Colcester Lower Crossing.

The road bridge will have an additional road section added to approach it from inside the layout, this in turn will lead to another traffic light junction where the Ring Road and the route through Furman Smithy village will part company.

Colcester Lower Crossing has had its road deck added and inside the road tunnel a curving wall was placed along with a curve in the road tunnel to give the illusion that the road turns to the right when viewed from the crossing itself.

Apart from a few additional features to be added, both locations are now essentially finished as can be seen in the pictures below...
