Depot Bridge Completed!!

As can be seen from the three previous News items, I have been busy with the task of creating a new bridge to span the Four Track Section and to give access to the Depot.

Christened the Depot Road Bridge (I`m nothing if not original in my titles for objects!) this work is now sufficiently complete to go back onto the layout. The tricky bit now starts of building a supporting area to carry this road in towards the centre of the layout and connect to the forthcoming Furman Smithy village. There is also the small matter of the ramp down to the Depot itself, which needs to go into position too.

This bridge is designed to be lifted off if required to give access to the tracks in case of derailments, cleaning or Overhead wire problems.
