Furman Smithy Junction - Redesign Mk2

Having already taken considerable time and money to redesign the existing junction at Furman Smithy, it became apparent on the first time I tried to operate two DCC locos over it that whenever they came into contact with the point or the crossover on the connecting tracks from the slow up/down lines and the lines into the storage yard it would cause a short in the circuit stopping both trains instantly.
Obviously this isn't desirable and after a bit of thought I think I can safely remove the connecting line anyway as both Colcester South and West Junctions give locos a chance to cross over onto the slow lines and vice-versa, making the need to do so at Furman Smithy rather redundant.
The change is needed because at present I believe both the Pendolino, the Javelin and the forthcoming Azuma will all have problems with too sharper entrance and exits from the storage yard, and with the discovery of this electrical short-out it is imperative to fix this before I can proceed with further scenics in this area.
Here is the proposed changes on a plan.
