Another new arrival is due...

On Colcester at present we have only four Diesel units - a Class 06, a Class 08, the Class 66 and the Class 156 Sprinter. Everything else on the traction front is an AC Electric locomotive or EMU. Since the passenger side of things is the bit where its lacking the most i have purchased an iconic Class 43 HST in Virgin livery which i will run-in on the lower level line until such time as it can be chipped.

I used to have two Class 43 HST`s back in the day in swallow livery, but they suffered neglect in the period between 1997 and 2008/9 when i had become disenchanted with the hobby and ended up as non-runners despite an attempt to revive one.

This then redresses that and balances out the fleet a little more with a better Diesel / Electric ratio.
