Detailed plans for the new layout...!!!

Since completing the initial plan proposed for the MK4 layout, i have been fine-tuning several keys areas on it to give a better idea of how things will be completed in full as and when the scenery is commenced. It also gave me a chance to look at the junctions in greater detail and slightly tweak them to maximise the best possible solution to enabling trouble free running.

Also the Colcester International Station WILL be gaining an additional platform - yes, i know we were going to keep it to just four platforms but we totally overlooked the needs of the Class 156 Sprinter unit as it requires a short DMU bay platform. In providing one we also gain the possibility of running a short service via Furman Smithy to/from the Lower Storage yard.
