NEW LNER CLASS 91 ARRIVES AT COLCESTER

With the ongoing agreements with Network Rail and LNER to stable locomotives and EMU sets at Colcester Depot, another locomotive is being stabled here and its the newly arrived LNER Class 91 "The Fusiliers" - the second Class 91 that the Depot currently stores.

Its believed that a full set of mk4 coaches and a DVT will also be allocated to Colcester in LNER livery and that this set will run alongside the Intercity and Azuma sets.

Colcester already holds three Azuma 5 car sets and there is talk that a fourth set may be joining the Deport in the near future, allowing for the Colcester lines to have two sets per line.
