SECOND AZUMA UNIT ARRIVES AT COLCESTER...

Originally the plan was to only have one Azuma, however after a major re-think regarding the reliability of the Class 390 Pendolino units on the Mk3 layout, it was decided to replace these units with the much newer Azuma ones, so both Pendolino`s were boxed up and traded into Great Eastern Models in Norwich and a 2nd Azuma was purchased and chipped as well.

The two Azuma`s will now past each other, the plan is to store one unit in the lower storage yard and the other in the upper storage yard so that they can both start off and meet at the International Station before carrying on to either the upper or lower yard again. On duties when the garden loop is in use they will obviously continue outside possibly passing each other twice in doing so.
