SHED DAYS....!!!

In order to kick-start the rebuilding of the layout, we will be putting aside dedicated Shed Days. This will help to refocus the whole project and get it back on track after a period of no activity at all. Some of this has been down to lack of personal time and bad weather, but also some illness too.

The idea is to firstly tackle the running board that crosses the shed door entrance, removing this will improve the shed access and will allow me to move onto the actual planning of the new boards and their framework. A lot of the exiting frame will remain in place but will have all its boards taken off so that additional strengthening work can be added in to support the boards. This process will be followed around the whole layout.

There will be taking up a number of weekends now over the coming months and hopefully a real difference will start to be seen as the new Colcester layout takes shape...
