TWO NEW CLASS 90s ARRIVE AT COLCESTER!!

As seen previously, the Class 390 Pendolino EMUs have left Colcester for another Depot. This left space for other units and classes to use Colcester as a stabling point whilst await further duties. Because Colcester still retains maintenance buildings and a workforce is also still in place here, limited maintenance work can also be carried out at he Depot, particulary on AC Electric EMU stock or locomotives. This makes Colcester ideal for handling Classes 350, 395 and even 800 units, but also Class 87, 90 and 91 locomotives.

Since the gap was available at he Depot we have taken on two further Class 90s, one in Revised InterCity livery and another - named "City of Glasgow" - from Virgin`s Fleet in their livery.

Both loco`s arrived on 02/07/2022 and are already being added to the Fleet Roster.
